An individuals conflict with nightspot is the central composition in Henrik Ibsens A Dolls house. The protagonist of the play, Nora, develops a conflict within herself. Ibsen displays the tension mingled with Noras reluctance to conform to societys expectations for women and her internal skeptical of whether or not she wants her own identity, without societys expectations influencing her identity.
